Bush Ambrée tasting notes
Bush Ambrée by Dubuisson, also know as Scaldis or just Amber, it is a Strong Dark Ale created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, the founder of Brasserie Dubuisson. It's first name was Bush Beer 24, due to its density. It is brewed with caramel malt, and it has malty, fruity and spicy aromas in the aroma, with notes of honey, apricot and coriander. Taste is sweet and malty with moderate bitterness and lots of spices and fruity notes in the taste. Finish is alcoholic and with some hop bitterness.
Belgian Strong Ale is a style that comprises from pale to bitter beers, with stronger yeast character than malt flavours, and higher alcohol than standard Belgian Ales. Colors tend to be light, and flavours smooth with some fruity and spicy notes.
