De Dochter about
De Dochter Van De Korenaar is a Belgian brewery founded in 2007 by Ronald Mengerink. Its name means the daughter of the ear of corn, and is and old flamish expression meaning beer—there is written records that Emperor Charles V preferred the juice of the daughter of the ear of corn rather than the blood of the grapes. Ronald was a homebrewer since he was 16 years old. They are focused in traditional Belgian styles—like Belgian Ales and Saison—, but also some international ones.
