The Sea Salt & Chilli Stout—tasting notes
The Sea Salt & Chili Stout by Anspach & Hobday is astout brewed with Columbus hops, chili and salt. It has a lot of roastiness in the nose, with a lot of chili presence, salt, coffee and chocolate. Taste is nice and complex, with hot chili, the sweetness of malts and some bitterness. A delicious stout.
Stout is a black beer with a pronounced roasted flavour, often similar to coffee. Flavour ranges from malty sweetness to quite bitter. Colour is dark brown to black, with a long last thick creamy head. Aroma has touches of coffee, and often chocolate and dried fruits.
